Конспект уроку з англійської мови до теми : «Пори року та погода» в 5 класі (за підручником А. М. Несвіт)

Підтема: Пори року.

Мета: повторити та закріпити лексичний матеріал з теми: «Погодні умови», ознайомити учнів з новими ЛО теми, практикувати учнів у вживанні лексики теми в усному та писемному мовленні, удосконалювати техніку читання, виховувати бережне ставлення до природи.

Обладнання: підручник, робочий зошит, ілюстративний матеріал, презентація, аудіо та відео додатки.

Хід уроку:

I. Привітання

T. Good morning, children. I am glad to see you.

P. Good morning, Good morning, Good morning to you

Good morning, Good morning, I am glad to see you.

II. Мотивація навчальної діяльності.

- Children, look out the window. What is the weather today? Describe today's weather. (Today is snowy, cold and windy).

- Do you like today's weather? (Yes)

- It is very good.

III. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку (Слайд 1)

T: Children, look at the blackboard. What can you see there?

P: Пори року.

T:Do you know how it will be in English?(No)

T: Today we learn it. We continue speaking about the «Nature and weather». Write down our today's theme « Seasons»

IV. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу (Слайд 2)

- Children, do you like music? (Yes, we do.)

- And what about singing? Do you like to sing songs? (Yes, we like it).

- Now we are singing all together one song about for seasons.

Spring is green.
Summer is bright,
Autumn is yellow,
Winter is white.

(Діти повторюють і вчать пісню про пори року і намагаються її перекласти з допомогою вчителя).

V. Актуалізація опорних знань.

- Children, can you help me? I have prepared for you some words, but one disappointment happened with me. And now I need your help. I'll give you cards with the task and you must read the words and choose weather conditions.

Mother, flowers, car, hot, table, information, windy, free, window, chair, cloudy, exercise book, house, rainy.

Keys: hot, windy, cloudy, rainy.

VI. Основна частина уроку.

1. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

1) Учні читають власний опис погоди, при цьому використовуючи прийом «Правда чи вигадка» (Ex. 6, p.101)

2) Учні пишуть словниковий диктант до вивченої лексики (Слайд 3)

2. Етап аудіювання на закріплення лексичних одиниць (windy, sunny, hot, cold, cloudy, rainy, foggy, snowy, warm).

T: Children, tell me please, do you watch on TV a forecast? (Yes)

- Why do you watch a forecast? (Because we want to know what weather will be tomorrow and which clothes can we wear.)

- I also interested in a weather forecast and I am offering you to watch it now, but you must be very attentively, because I have prepared for you an interesting task. (Діти переглядають відео про прогноз погоди (1хв17с) і потім виконують необхідне завдання).

- And now you must complete the chart given below. Use the fol-

lowing words to describe weather: sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, snowy, hot, warm. Work, please, in pairs. ( Діти заповнюють табличку, в якій необхідно записати погоду на чотири дні тижня). (Слайд 4)

3. Етап письма говоріння (робота з підручником).

T: Children, open your books, please, on page 101. Look at the exercise 2.

- What can we see there? (Seasons).

- OK. Repeat after me the words. (Діти повторюють за вчителем слова: spring, summer, autumn, winter. )

- Read the task, please. (Учні читають завдання до вправи).

- And now you must choose the end then describe this season. The other pupils have to guess about which weather it runs card (Кожен учень обирає картку із однією з пір року, а потім має описати її, а інші діти здогадатися про яку із пір року йде мова). (Слайди 5-8)

4. Фізкультхвилинка (Слайд 9)

- Children, are you tired? OK, now we have physical activity.

5. Етап читання.

- Pupils, tell me please, did you remember the names of the seasons ? Now, we are checking it. Look at the exercise 3 of page 101. Read, please, the task for this exercise. Read what children say about their favorite seasons. Match them to the photos given above. (Слайд 10)

6. Етап закріплення та розуміння прочитаного.

- Did you like and understand the text? (Yes)

- It is very well, when you understood it I want to check it. Are you ready? Ok, so I dіvide you into two groups, which team we'll be the first that we'll be winner. But we can't start without the task. So, you have to guess if the statement true or false. One, two, three… Let's start. (Cлайди 11-13)

VII. Заключна частина уроку.

1. Підведення підсумків уроку.

- Pupils, today we worked very hardly. We have learned four seasons and I hope that you remembered their very well. At the end of our lesson I want to propose you play in one game. I give you papers with the words, which you ought to match to the pictures (four seasons).

2. Домашнє завдання.

Your home task will be:

- to do Ex. 6, page 103;

- to paint the picture of your favorite season.

Мета: активізувати нові ЛО з теми; розвивати навички письма з теми; повторити та удосконалити граматичні навички з теми «Ступені порівняння прикметників»; розвивати навички говоріння з теми «Погода у Великобританії та Україні»; виховувати любов до Батьківщини та країни, мова якої вивчається.

Обладнання: підручник, робочий зошит, роздатковий матеріал, презентація, аудіо та відео додатки.

Хід уроку:

I. Привітання.

II. Актуалізація опорних знань учнів.

- Children, remember, please, what we have learned at the last lesson? (Seasons)

- Yes. And how do you think, did you remember four seasons? (Yes)

- Ok, so I suggest you play in a game. Look, we have four seasons and for words, which you must compare.

(Учні поєднують картинки з словами).(Слайд 1)

III. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. (Слайд 2)

- Do you know, children, that real Englishmen like to speak about weather very much? It is their favorite theme. If you come abroad, you must to know how to keep a conversation, so today we learn with you more about weather.

IV. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Скоромовка

- Today we learn with you a new tongue twister, but what theme of the tongue twister you must to guess. Ok, so, at first repeat after me and then you read one by one.

Whether the weather be fine,
or whether the weather be not.
Whether the weather be cold,
or whether the weather be hot.
We'll weather the weather
whether we like it or not.

(Слайд 3)

(Учні слухають скоромовку за диктором, потім читають один за одним і здогадуються про тему. Потім перекладають з допомогою учителя).

- So, did you guess about theme of the tongue twister? (Yes, it is the weather).

- Good egg. So, let's start our lesson with our home task, but primarily I want to see how you are ready for the lesson.

V. Основна частина уроку.

1. Перевірка готовності дітей до уроку.

- Children, are you ready for our lesson? Do you have school supplies, books, exercise books, date books? Good, so I can check your home task.

2. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

Учні переказують топік про улюблену пору року та демонструють малюнки, створені до цього опису. Вчитель перевіряє та виправляє допущені помилки в усному мовленні.

- Thank you, I see, that you worked very hardly. Children, did you remember what we have learned at the last lesson? (Yes, we have learned seasons).

- You have right. We review today seasons and weather conditions. I show you the pictures and you must call seasons or weather conditions. (Вчитель демонструє учням картинки, вони називають погодні умови або пори року англійською мовою).

3. Етап слухання та закріплення лексичних одиниць.

- Pupils, tell me, please, do you have at home a thermometer? Wherefore people need it? (Because we look at the thermometer and we know what clothes we can put on).

- Yes, It is very important for us. So, we must to know how it will be in English, so I propose you open your books of page 103, exercise 1. Repeat after me new words combinations and then we translate their.

(Учні повторюють за вчителем словосполучення і перекладають їх).

- And now I am dividing you into 2 groups. Together you have to match the sentences with the pictures and then we'll check their.

(Учні разом співставляють речення It’s freezing. It’s hot. It’s warm. It’s cold. з картинками).

4. Говоріння.

- Children, look out the window. Can you describe today's weather? (Yes, today is frosty, snowy and windy).

Very nice. And I have prepared for you some pictures. Look at them. You can see different nature and the weather conditions and you must describe the weather. I give you 3-4 minutes. Work in pairs, using the example but primarily we watch video about the weather , which help you easier describe your picture.

- I see, that you are ready. So, you can start your description.

Example:

P1: What is the weather like today?

P2:Today is freezing. The temperature is zero degrees.

6. Етап читання.

- Pupils, do you know something about Great Britain? (Yes. London is the capital of Great Britain. Great Britain is situated on the British Isles.)

- Ok, and today you improve your knowledge on (about) Great Britain. I suggest you open your books of page 103-104, exercise 3. How we can translate the text? (Пори року у Великобританії).

- Exactly. You must read the text in groups and then you share the information with each other.

(Учні читають поданий текст у групах, потім один учень з кожної групи переказує коротко подану інформацію ).

7. Розвиток граматичних навичок з теми: «Ступені порівняння прикметників».

(Учитель демонструє дітям картинки, на яких вони бачать високу людину, вищу і найвищу.)

- Children, look at these pictures. What can you tell about them? (Один хлопчик високий, а інший – низький)

- That's right. In English, how also in Ukrainian, adjectives have degrees of comparison. I wrote some words. Look at them, please. What did you notice? (Прикметники мають повторюване закінчення –er, -est).

(Cлайд 5)

- You are very attentive. It's true. Pupils, imagine that you are now in Math lesson. When you want get sum you must one number plus to other and adjectives make alike. When you want make the comparative degree you must add to the ending –er, and when It will be the superlative degree you must add –est. Is it clear? (Yes)

- It is well. Let's check it. Using your previous text, write out the adjectives in comparative and superlative degrees and underline endings.

8. Закріплення граматичних навичок на рівні речення. Розвиток навичок письма.

- Tell me please, did you understand the grammar's theme? (Yes)

- Ok, so we check it right now. We do exercise 4 of page 104. We do it near the blackboard and you must explain why you chose so degree.

(Учитель пояснює утворення ступенів порівняння прикметників, якщо вони багатоскладові)

9. Розвиток навичок діалогічного мовлення.

- How say in the nation «There is no bad weather, all weather is fine…». How we can translate this proverb? (У природи немає поганої погоди).

(Слайд 6)

- Correct. And now we are proving this statement. You work in a small pairs and you must make up the dialogue to the weather forecast.

(Діти розглядають картинку із прогнозом погоди і описують її, користуючись прикладом).

Example:

A: What is the weather like in Cardiff today?

B: It’s sunny.

A: What’s the temperature in Cardiff today?

B: It's ten degrees above zero.

10. Розвиток навичок письма.

- Children, do you have a pen friend? (Yes)

- How often do you chat with her/him? (Not often).

- Ok. Imagine that your pen friend is from Great Britain. And you want write him/her about the weather in Ukraine. Now you must write down him/her the letter. I'll give you few minutes to write it. You can use the example for this work.

Example:

In Ukraine the weather is good. In winter it’s very cold and windy. In autumn and spring it can be very windy but it’s not very cold. Summer can be quite warm but it can also be cloudy.

VI. Заключна частина уроку.

- So, pupils, did you like our today's lesson? What did you remember? What we have learned at this lesson.
